How We Build Your Van
From first conversation to handover, here's what to expect when you build with Hutch.

Initial Chat
We start with a conversation — your travel plans, your van (or help choosing one), your ideas, your must-haves. No pressure, no sales pitch.

Build Begins
Once the deposit is paid, your van enters the build queue. We'll keep you updated with regular progress photos, and you're welcome to arrange a visit to the workshop during the build.

Finishing & Certification
Final fit-out, quality checks, VASS engineering certification (or state/territory equivalent), and a thorough test of every system. We don't hand over until everything is right.

Design & Quote
We put together a detailed design concept and quote based on your brief. We'll walk you through every element, explain our recommendations, and refine until you're happy.

Fit-Out & Electrical
Cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, insulation, flooring — everything is built and installed by hand. This is where your van starts to take shape.
06
Handover
We walk you through every system in your van — electrical, water, awning, appliances — so you're confident from day one. Then the road is yours.
